The Jefferson County Law Library is the only public legal research library in Jefferson County and is located on the second floor of the courthouse. The library contains approximately 7000 bound volumes and has computer access to several legal research databases.
The public is invited to use the Library during regular courthouse hours. The Library is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The Library is open to the Jefferson County Bar seven days a week. A part-time librarian and the Judge's law clerk maintain the Library.
